Hi! I’m Ariel, the owner of Twisted Sisters Cupcakes. 

 I’m originally from upstate New York, but I made Virginia home in 2014 when I started working here as the manager and cake decorator.

 In 2022, I was given the incredible opportunity to purchase the bakery and take over the business. It’s been one wild, crazy, rewarding journey and I honestly wouldn’t change it for the world.

These days, I wear just about every hat imaginable. I’m the cake decorator, wedding coordinator, one of the bakers, sometimes the cupcake truck driver, and of course, customer service. That’s just small business life!

 I may be a professional, but I refuse to let that take away my silly, weird side. Around here, we believe life (and cupcakes) should always be a little sweet… and a little twisted.

My incredible team and I bake everything using real, high-quality ingredients like sweet cream butter, Madagascar vanilla bean, Callebaut chocolate, and so much more. We believe every dessert should be an edible work of art - beautiful enough to admire and delicious enough to remember.
